| Abstract. | The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships between Body Mass Index (BMI), skeletal muscle mass, and adipose tissue in a sample of female university students aged 20 to 23. By employing bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), we sought to assess detailed body composition parameters and identify potential correlations between BMI and both lean and fat mass components. The study also aimed to highlight the importance of precise body composition evaluation in young adult populations, as a basis for early health interventions and lifestyle optimization. |
