| Abstract. | The aim of this research was to implement a technical–tactical training model in handball within a high school representative team. Multiple tests were conducted to assess speed, agility, and handball-specific skills. The study was conducted on 13 students aged between 15 and 18 years, members of the representative handball team of the National College “Petru Rareș” in Suceava. The training program was integrated into handball skill-development lessons and adapted to the specific characteristics of the participants. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model, a set of eight assessment tests was applied, targeting both general and handball-specific speed as well as fundamental technical elements of the game. After the implementation of the training model twice per week, improvements were observed across all administered tests and the team achieved positive results in school competitions. The exercises contributed to the enhancement of performance indices. |
